52 Social Presents a new Pop up restaurant in the heart of East London “Chops of Fury” this restaurant is situated on Kingsland Road and will be open for 2 months. Serving authentic Asian Street food and tasty Cocktails
I lived in this part for London for 2 years so I know exactly what to wear when going to one of these street food pop up restaurants.
Ok so maybe I did go over the top with colour but what the heck it’s Shoreditch the home for Hipsters so… Who cares?! My face simply didn’t look bothered.
The Light High wasted jeans are from Primark perfect tone of blue to go with this Shirt.
This shirt is a vintage floral motive, which I rolled up the sleeve to look slightly more stylish.
For the jewellery I added some delicate pieces, including this ear stud with a chained cuff is a sweet delicate piece. The rings chosen were a couple of gold numbers from Primark including this colour coordinate blue stone ring.
The necklace is a small arrow from Topshop, the blue colours needed to be broken up with something small and potentially gold.
Also while we are talking about my outfit, Shoreditch, Hippsters and all that Jazz. I wanted to mention the new Lipstick I tried from H&M. A hot pink colour sent my outfit into hyperdrive with the Pink coloured lips and Red Hair, I’m ready for Shoreditch.
Chops of fury is a cool boutique restaurant situated on the busy Kingsland Road in Shoreditch its decked out with Authentic Asian vibes.
The food served is a classic Authentic street food. We tried a variety of starters including Pumkin Croquettes these had to be my favourite, sweet and crispy it had a hint of similarities to doughnuts strangely. Other tasty starter included a fresh Crispy Beef salad which was super refreshing, Chicken Gyoza and Breaded Prawns, all of which tasted fabulous.
Main courses we opted for Singapore noodles with pulled pork and a very Asian take on Fish and Chips aka “Fish of Fury” a selection of seafood in a light tempura batter served with skinny chips and a very inventive wasabi mushy peas… Heaven!
I’m a sucker for desserts the Happy Happy Desert screamed eat me.
Happy Happy Dessert was a very different take on an ice cream sundae, flavours included Matcha Green tea, Coconut sorbet and White Miso. served with wafers, lychee and Dragon fruit. The Dessert wasn’t one of the sweetest desserts I’ve tasted but it was the perfect refreshing way to finish the meal.
Fortunate for me I managed to try out a number of cocktails all with a combination of Gin, Vodka and Tequila mix.
My favourite was the Frozen Red Lotus cocktail which left Emma CB in a very happy sate.
I highly recommend Chop of Fury a perfect spot for Authentic Asian food and scummy Cocktails. Open for a couple of months so check it out while it’s still open 😉 ️xx
