I needed an outfit that would comfortably make me stand out. Now Portsmouth doesn’t have the Glitz or the Glam that some might say London has. The night outfit needed to be stylish and I did not intend to stand out like a sore thumb. I needed an outfit that was funky something that would be wearable for a multi-venue night.
Crochet is on trend and this white crop is a real stand out piece. The top was bought from Primark, such a bargain.
This top is perfect for the smaller bust as there is no support and there is a high possibility of slippages.
A great feature to this top is that it shows off a lot of back perfect for the added sex appeal.
To dress down the top and cover up slightly this white lace with delicate beading is a fabulous addition. The appearance has a authentic vintage vibe.
A Kimono is a perfect substitute to a jacket, it’s light and can easily fold and fit in your bag.
The bag compliments the outfit, it’s a shoulder satchel, black to colour coordinate and the tassel marry well with the tassels from the Kimono.
To create a stylish but classic affect from this outfit the trousers need to be a high waist, the top shows off enough skin so it’s best to cover up on the leg. These trousers from Miss Selfridge are a snug fit, elasticated and perfectly made for dancing the night away.
As for the shoes, I needed a pair that were walkable, danceable and something that wouldn’t distracted away from the main feature of the outfit the upper half.
