Florals and Flares
What is going on with this weather at the moment… It’s June now is it not? But it feels like April Showers.
I’m screaming out for the sunshine, to wear bare legs, floaty summer dresses. I do wonder do I dare take the jump but knowing me I’m too scared I might jinx the weather if I’m too premature.
When I left the house in the morning it was so gloomy and cold, it felt like we had skipped summer and went straight into Autumn. The funny thing is by mid day it turned so hot and clammy i ended up stripping down to the one layer and holding any coat and jacket.
On Tuesday, I filmed the first episode of Emma CB’s Acoustic Session the outfit I opted for was a 70’s flare and floral day wear.
These Flares from Forever21 are great, they keep you cool and breezy, the colours tone down the spring style as the weather wasn’t bright enough to wear fresh colours.
What I love about the flares are they have suspender straps, not only to hold up your trousers but they make them different to all the other flares out there.
The top was a simple crop top from Topshop, the top had to be pale plain colour in order for the lower half of the outfit to make an impact.
Now to imprint my personality onto the outfit this necklace is a back necklace but I decided it was far too pretty not to be seen.
Shoes are a small flatform, great for a subtle height.
