James King, Singer Songwriter was the second act to be interviewed on Emma CB’s Acoustic sessions.
What can I say… he most definitely brought fun and laughter to set, Yorkshire born and bred the artist moved to London to pursue his Music Career and he doing a grand job at that.
He’s created a real buzz in the music industry playing at the OK! Christmas Party, prancing down several red carpets and The Daily mail is insisting he’s the next John Mayer.
James’s style of music has a chilled indie vibe, learning the guitar at the age of 8 he once was in a band taking over lead vocal and now he’s taking centre stage as a solo artist.
James takes inspiration from folk legends aka Eric Clapton and Johnny Cash. Playing his own take on Folsom Blues this genre comes natural to him.
When James isn’t in London playing at gigs he supports the “Keep Britain Tidy” Campaign where he plays at independent schools.
In July James will be releasing his hard earned EP, this is an event that would not be missed. He has a real shine about him, humble but confident. The presence he creates when performing is fantastic and you can understand why he has been announce as the next John Mayer.
